       For example: the domestic found that the corrosion of crude oil storage tanks caused by loss of resources and environmental damage have hundreds of cases every year, the loss is more than 20 million . Especially in the petrochemical , in Daqing Petrochemical, Jingmen Petrochemical, Jiujiang Petrochemical, Fushun Petrochemical, Liaohua, Qilu Petrochemical, Zhenhai Refining & Chemical, Maoming Petrochemical and so on have occurred tank corrosion leakage which affects the safety and production of the accident. China's active tank, anti-corrosion means a single, low-level, long been running, now we reached the accident-prone period. And a large number of construction projects in the new technology, new product requirements are also very urgent. Therefore, to adopt new anti-corrosion technology to strengthen the equipment safety life prediction and management has become a major issue of joint efforts at home and abroad.

        Cathodic protection technology began in the 1950s to the 1970s, and with the successful application of dimensionally stable anodes (DSA) in chlor-alkali industries, the application of current-coupled current (DSA) cathodic protection technology has risen in developed countries Has been rapid development, its research and development has been increasing attention, technology is becoming more mature, the share of the cathodic protection accounted for more than 40%. However, the current domestic technology research is also slow to develop, although (DSA) anode in many anti-corrosion projects have a growing demand, such as in Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical large oil tank cathodic protection has been used imported titanium anode. Domestic production of additional current cathodic protection anode is mainly graphite, ferrosilicon and other low-end products, with corrosion resistance, output current, service time and other advantages of DSA high-end anode is still basically dependent on imports.
