When to Use Impressed Current Cathodic Protection
Nov 01, 2016

Sometimes galvanic cathodic protection isn’t enough, such as when stray electrical currents from nearby power sources cause a structure (e.g., a pipeline) to corrode. Impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) is an appropriate solution in these situations. This educational video from CorrConnect covers how impressed current cathodic protection succeeds where other methods fall short.
