     Preparation of platinum plated titanium electrode

       The test was carried out with three electrode system.         Test on wear rate and coating adhesion of platinum plated titanium electrode

        In artificial seawater and current accelerated life test, the simultaneous determination of 3 samples, test conditions: medium: artificial seawater; current density: 10000A m2; anode: platinum plated titanium electrode (plating thickness 5 m); the cathode titanium plate; temperature: room temperature, strengthen the determination of platinum plated titanium electrode life in the under the condition of. The failed electrode surface has almost no platinum. In the process of testing, no platinum coating was found to fall off, and the loss of platinum was uniformly reduced macroscopically. This shows that the coating and substrate are firmly bonded. In order to further examine the coating and substrate, the platinum plated titanium electrode in 1:1HCl 10h boiling, remove, washing, drying, non shedding, observation of the platinum layer peeling phenomenon, indicating that the combination of platinum coating and titanium substrate is strong.
